Our move in went quite smoothly.  Our landlady left us with a few projects to complete - create a mosaic on a patio table, and paint our front door white - to name a few.  Not trying to brag - but we live in such a lovely house in a stunning neighbourhood... surrounded by gothic stone churches and Victorian rowhouses, and always a view of the ocean (probably five "Vancouver blocks" from our house to the waterfront).

Our house is furnished with lovely antiques - and Rowan has become very fond of an old sofa in our living room.  I'm sure the novelty of burning logs in our wood stove will wear off - and then winter will be here and we'll have no choice.  Right now Hurriance Earl is looming somewhere along the East Coast... the weather has been very tropical & rainy this evening.

Last night we were discussing Hallowe'en costumes - and there was a pitter patter of footsteps above our heads... I thought it was Rowan - it wasn't.  So, before going to bed we made sure to introduce ourselves to our resident spirit.

Goodnight.

I'm pretty sure you only live 2 blocks from my sister, the view out the window looked familiar. Your house already looks like a home, congrats onyour successful move!

Congrats Guys! Beautiful Pictures Robert! I see in the Mosaic table picture, Amber has a broken Mug beside her, how many did you need to break to complete it?
