Walking in 30 degree heat across the Waterford River for the first time, and then on to the Southside Road to Cahill Point & Fort Amherst.  But, it was worth it to see stunning views of the open ocean and Cape Spear shrouded in fog - also a different perspective of St. John's.   It has been a great long weekend thus far - but our little summer vacation is coming to an end soon...
