These photos are stills from our world - brief glimpses of our day to day life.  From long summer afternoons on the beaches in Vancouver, to cold & windy climbs up Signal Hill in St. John’s.  From slippery sidewalks & frozen ponds in Halifax’s Point Pleasant Park, to humid & sticky bike rides down College Street in Toronto.

Robert is a photographer, and a lover of the finer things: craft ale, wine, good coffee, history, and literature.  Amber is a student midwife, and a doula, a birth geek, a witch, and a lover of wool on her needles.  Our little yellow lab Rowan has been along with us on this journey since December in Halifax.  Together we happily call Atlantic Canada our home, and we are glad to have you follow our journey.

Presently, after three steady years of picture taking, our cameras are taking a break.  However, this website will stay and soon enough the photos will return.  Stay tuned for more…
